Kyoto Futons Limited has been named Best Sofa Bed Supplier in the Interiors Monthly Awards 2026, the third year in succession that the manufacturer has taken the title.

Building for the Future:
The award arrives as the business expands its warehousing. Work is under way on a 25,000 sq ft facility, due to be fully operational by mid-August 2026. The additional space will raise stockholding levels, shorten fulfilment times and lift service standards across the customer base.
"The new warehouse is a major step forward for us," Paul Little continued. "It will allow us to hold more stock, react faster to customer demand, and improve overall delivery performance. This puts us in a strong position to support our customers' growth and our own ambitions as we move towards 2027."
Investing in People
Two senior appointments have been made alongside the investment. Mark Ballard takes up the post of Operations Manager, joining with a background in production performance and day to day efficiency. Shelley King has been appointed HR Manager, with a remit spanning people, culture and organisational development.
"These appointments are key to our next stage of growth," added Paul Little. "Mark and Shelley both bring valuable expertise and fresh perspective, and together we are building a leadership team that will support the business as it scales."
