Voted Furniture News Best Sofa Bed Supplier of 2026
Kyoto Futons Limited is proud to announce that it has topped the Best Sofa Bed Supplier category in this year’s Furniture News Readers’ Choice Awards, marking the third consecutive year the company has received this prestigious industry recognition.
Paul Little, Sales and Marketing Director:
“We are absolutely delighted to have won these awards for the third year running. It is a real reflection of the hard work, consistency and commitment across the entire Kyoto team, as well as the ongoing support from our valued retail partners. To be recognised consecutively in such a competitive category is something we are incredibly proud of.”
Ongoing Investment
Alongside this achievement, Kyoto Futons is entering an exciting new phase of growth, underpinned by the strengthening of its leadership team. Mark Ballard has joined the business as Operations Manager, bringing extensive experience to further enhance operational efficiency and production performance. In addition, Shelley King has been appointed as HR Manager, supporting the company’s continued investment in people, culture and organisational development.
“These appointments are key to our next stage of growth,” added Paul Little. “Mark and Shelley both bring valuable expertise and fresh perspective, and together we are building a leadership team that will support the business as it scales.”
New Warehousing
Further demonstrating its commitment to growth and service excellence, Kyoto Futons is also investing in a significant expansion of its infrastructure. A new 25,000 sq ft warehouse facility is currently being developed and is expected to be fully operational by mid-August 2026. This major investment will significantly increase stockholding capacity, improve fulfilment performance, and enhance service levels across the customer base.
Nick Cancea, Managing Director:
“It’s incredibly pleasing to see the direction the business is taking. The investment in our facilities, alongside the strengthening of the leadership team, giving us a strong platform for the future. We have a very clear focus on development and long-term growth, and I’m confident we are building something very resilient and progressive.”
